Request a price from Bergent.

Share the material, grade, approximate tonnage and location. The more specific the information, the more accurately a trader can review the enquiry.

What speeds up a quote

Six details that reduce back-and-forth and get you to a firm price faster.

Material type and ISRI grade

The more precise the grade — HMS 1&2, Zorba 90/10, Bare Bright copper — the faster a firm price can be offered.

Approximate tonnage

Container minimum is 88 tonnes. Note whether the availability is a one-off lot or recurring position.

Country and loading port

Country of origin and, where known, the intended export terminal or nearest container port.

Availability window

Whether material is ready to load spot, within 30 days, or at a forward date affects pricing.

Photographs

Yard or warehouse photos cut the number of follow-up questions and typically shorten the response time.

Preferred payment terms

LC at sight is standard for new counterparties. State any preference upfront so we can address it in the first response.

  2. Grading and sampling

Price basis (firm or LME-indexed), Incoterm, and payment mechanism are agreed per contract before any shipment proceeds.
