Supply relationships across international sourcing markets.

Bergent seeks scrap metal supply from recycling businesses, metal processors and commodity traders across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Material is shipped to Pakistan, discharged at Karachi KPT or Port Qasim, and delivered to Pakistani mills and foundries.

Priority sourcing markets

The regions below are markets Bergent sources from or is actively seeking to develop supply relationships in. These are not territories where Bergent operates offices or maintains permanent facilities.

United Kingdom

The UK is a primary sourcing market for Bergent. Bergent seeks supply relationships with scrap yards, metal processors, demolition contractors, electrical recyclers and HVAC dismantlers operating throughout Great Britain. The breadth of industrial metal arisings across UK manufacturing and infrastructure makes it a focus for ongoing supply development.

Northern Europe

Bergent seeks to develop supply relationships across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Scandinavia. High-grade ferrous and non-ferrous arisings from automotive production, electrical equipment recycling and manufacturing industry across this region are a priority. Bergent targets commodity traders, metal merchants and industrial manufacturers generating regular export volumes.

Southern Europe

Italy and Spain are sourcing markets Bergent targets for copper, aluminium, ferrous and stainless-steel grades. Bergent seeks supply from scrap merchants, industrial liquidation businesses and demolition companies operating across both countries.

Central & Eastern Europe

Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic are markets where Bergent is actively developing sourcing relationships. Industrial manufacturing, automotive dismantling and waste management businesses in these markets generate export-grade material Bergent seeks to route to Pakistani industrial buyers.

North America

Bergent seeks supply relationships with commodity traders, metal merchants and industrial liquidation companies in the United States and Canada. North American grades — particularly prepared ferrous, copper and aluminium — attract consistent demand from Pakistani mills and foundries.

Middle East

The Middle East represents a developing sourcing focus for Bergent. Bergent seeks supply from traders, industrial manufacturers and demolition businesses operating across the region who require a reliable export route to Pakistan.

What makes a supply relationship work

Bergent looks for accuracy and transparency at every stage of a supply transaction. The following factors determine whether a supply relationship develops long term.

Accurate material descriptions
Grade, specification and ISRI classification provided at the point of offer, not discovered during loading.
Correct grading
Material presented against the agreed classification. Over-grading is a consistent reason Bergent declines further business with a supplier.
Representative photographs and video
Footage of the actual lot being offered, not archived material from earlier shipments.
Weight verification
Weighbridge tickets or certified net weights accompany every offer and loading.
Contamination disclosure
Known contaminants declared in the initial offer. Surprises at loading delay shipments and damage the supply relationship.
Material composition
Where the contract requires it, XRF data or assay results are provided before loading commences.
Loading access
Where the contract specifies it, an independent surveyor appointed for the transaction can attend loading to issue the required certificates.
Export documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list and export licence (where applicable) provided promptly to avoid vessel holds.
Reliability
Material is available when an offer is made. Lots are not offered to multiple buyers simultaneously without disclosure.

Shipping from origin to Pakistan

This page covers sourcing origin and supply relationships. Container specifications, Incoterms, inspection and documentation are detailed on the international trade page.

Once material is agreed and loaded, Bergent coordinates freight to Pakistan. Shipments are discharged at Karachi KPT or Port Qasim depending on the buyer's instruction. Container and bulk vessel options may be arranged depending on material type and volume. Bergent quotes FOB, CFR and CIF terms on most transactions.

Pakistani buyers receive the document set agreed under the contract of sale — typically including the bill of lading, packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any inspection or assay certificates. Where independent inspection is required, it may be arranged with an accredited surveyor at origin prior to loading.
